Rose Kepics

Rose Kepics, (Matarese) 89 on March 24, 2014 Born in Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late Sebastiano and the late Josephine (Tedesco) Matarese. Rose lived in Woodlyn for the past 66 years. Rose graduated in 1944 from Chester High School and still organized their class reunions. Rose worked recently at COSA in Eddystone and in the past at Red Cross, Media, John Wanamaker in Springfield, Arden Manufacturing in Aston. Mrs. Kepics was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church Ladies Auxillary Knights of Columbus Peace Council 4518. Predeceased by her husband James Kepics, 2 sisters Lucy Radell and Mary Fierro 2 brothers Joseph and William Materese Survived by. sons: Jay Kepics ( Bonnie) of Woodlyn, PA, John Kepics of Boothwyn daughter Linda Kepics who lived with her. 5 grandchildren, Michelle Leary ( Michael) of Drexel Hill, Kimberly Kepics of Sharon Hill, Michael Maiolino of Broomall, Jason Maiolino of Folcroft and Kristen Kepics of Ridley Park ; 1 Great Grandson, Austin Leary. Funeral Mass Friday 10;30am at Our Lady Of Peace Church, 280 Milmont Ave, Milmont Park. Visitation :Thursday 7-9 pm Friday 9-9:45am at Kevin M. Lyons Funeral Service 202 S. Chester Pk Glenolden,PA 19036 Interment Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
