Sandra Megonegal

Sandra K. Megonegal, 65 of Ridley Twp, Folsom, PA, died Tuesday April 16, 2013 in the Delaware County Memorial Hospital, Drexel Hill, PA. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of William B. and the late Dorothy (Thomas) Kirk. Graduate of Ridley Park High School 1965, Methodist Hospital School of Nursing 1968, She was a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit for 45 years at Delaware County Memorial Hospital. Sandra loved her career and all “the girls” that she worked with,dearly.( Patti,Debbie, Sharon and Danielle). Above all was the love of her life,her granddaughters. She was the town “mom-mom”. She loved Halloween,bowling with her friends and the beach. Beloved wife of 40 years to Richard R.Megonegal who passed away, at their home,.suddenly less than 24 hours after her passing. Survived by Her daughter: Cynthia M. Arnao Grandchildren Brittany & Camaron Arnao Her brother Jeffrey (joann) Kirk and her sister Diane Heppard Her brother in law Wayne Megonegal who was her best “buddy” for the past 8 months of her illness.
