Susan M. Spadea, (nee D’Alessandro) 83 of South Philadelphia, PA, died peacefully Friday November 22, 2013 in Genesis, Harston Hall, Flourtown, PA. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Nicola and the late Angelina (Russo) D'Alessandro. She was a retired waitress, famous at Woolworth's and Swan Caterers. Susan loved being surrounded by her family and making them laugh. She was that special aunt that everyone loved. She was the Philadelphia Flyers number one fan. Predeceased by her twin sister Agnes Cione, her sister Rita Urbano and her brother Nicholas D’Alessandro. Survived by her sister: Mary D'Amato and goddaughter Angela D’Amato of Glenolden, PA Many Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Great Nephews, Funeral Mass Wednesday 10:30 am at Saint Joseph's Church, 500 Woodlawn Ave., Collingdale Friends may call Wednesday from 9:30-10:30am at Saint Joseph's Church, Burial: Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
