Virginia (nee Farrar) Gieder passed away on December 27, 2019 at the age of 56. She was a resident of Norwood for 30 years. Virginia was a loving wife to James Gieder and mother of Regina Roosevelt (predeceased), Sharon Shuter (John), and Christine Gieder (Alex Rebold). She is the grandmother of Virginia Roosevelt and Isabella Shuter. She is the beloved daughter of John and Frances Farrar (predeceased) dear sister of Joyce Righetti (Brian), Jack Farrar, Jill Maurer (predeceased), and Wanda Flynn. She is also survived by her mother-in-law Elizabeth Schleifer and her many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Saturday, January 11, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the Kevin M. Lyons Funeral Home, 202 S. Chester Pike, Glenolden 19036 followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11:30 a.m. Burial private
