1929-2017 Walter J. Bayliss, Sr. (aka Walt the Signman), 87 of, Media, PA, died Sunday April 23,2017 in the Fair Acres Geriatric Center, Media, PA. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Walter G and the late Rose Ellen (Scott) Bayliss. Walt was a resident of Ridley Twp. for many years before moving to Norwood. He served during World War II in the U.S.Army He owned and operated Walt The Sign Man. He was a member of St. Gabriel’s Church and the Optimist Club. He enjoyed playing golf and bowling. Predeceased by his Wife Rita Massi Bayliss, his son Walter J. Bayliss, Jr. Siblings Roseann Poley, Joseph and Jack Bayliss Survived by his son Michael (Donna) Bayliss Sisters: Elizabeth Hartunian and Janet Marie Worby.
