Beth Fmura

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Beth A. Austin “Miss Beth” Fmura, 44, of Crabtree, formerly of Greensburg, died unexpectedly Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Excela Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born November 21, 1968 in Greensburg, a daughter of George B. and Beverly A. Albright Austin of Greensburg. Beth was a compassionate psychiatric nurse who touched many lives. She was a great listener who knew what to say. She had a contagious laugh. She was an avid Steelers and Penguins fan, enjoyed Harleys, listening to music, going to concerts, and loved to “get her disco groove on”. She was predeceased by an infant brother. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son Michael S. “Rocco” Fmura of Crabtree; a sister Lori L. “Sissy” (Mark) Blatney of Greensburg; two nephews: Justin and Shawn Blatney; her ex-husband Steven C. Fmura; and many close friends whom she loved dearly and considered family. Beth will always be sorely missed and deeply loved. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg. Visitors are asked to dress casual. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family.
