Carl A. “Papa” Garlowich, 60, of Greensburg, died Saturday, March 14, 2015, in UPMC Montefiore, Oakland. He was born May 24, 1954, in Connellsville, a son of the late Edward and Catherine (Eutsey) Garlowich. He was a veteran, having served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife, Marlene (Uhrinek) Garlowich, of Greensburg; sons, Joseph (Raeanne) Garlowich, of North Carolina, and Chris (Amber) Garlowich, of Florida; brothers, Edward (Marlene) Garlowich, of Scottdale, Tony (Kathy) Garlowich, of Alabama, and Mike Garlowich, of Scottdale; and six grandchildren, Adalie, Trustin, Levi, Isaac, Ahnika and Brooklynn. At Papa’s request, services will be held privately. BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, Greensburg, in charge of arrangements.
