Catherine M. Layman, 80, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017. She was born Aug. 24, 1936, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Albert and Josephine Campbell Essing. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph P. Layman; a son, Robert Bauer; and a daughter, Jodi Bair. She is survived by a daughter, Cindy (Richard) Cox, of Greensburg; two grandchildren, Justina and Jason Cox; and a great-grandson, Dylan Cox. There will be no public visitation or service.
