Christy Dee Koring, 60, of Greensburg, died Thursday, September 22, 2016. She was born February 14, 1956 in Norfolk, Virginia, a daughter of the late James E. and Dorothy Artman Peters. Christy had volunteered with the Red Cross’s AFES program for 20 years. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved son, Aaron J. Koring on April 25, 2015. She is survived by her husband, Ken Koring; two daughters: Katrina Dixon of Latrobe and Caila Koring of Titusville; two grandsons: Brady and Tyler Dixon; a brother Scott Peters of New Jersey; and a sister Anne Peters of California. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7 p.m. Monday at the BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg.
