Edward Bick

Edward J. Bick, 73, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, June 23, 2015. He was born January 29, 1942 in Latrobe, son of the late Edward R. and Eleanor Steffen Bick. He was Catholic by faith. Mr. Bick was a Navy corpsman, serving in Cuba during the Cuban Missle Crisis. He was retired from Verizon and had previously worked at Latrobe Steel, the Highway Department, and Sherwin Williams. He was a member of the VFW Post 33, the Greensburg Sportsmen’s Club, the Bell Telephone Pioneers, and the Latrobe Chapter of the AARP. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Rebecca Bick. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Mary Lou Urban Bick; a sister Susan (Tim) Lundy of Pittsburgh; two brothers-in-law: John “Jack” (Jan) Urban of Edinboro and Pat (Diane) Urban of Greensboro, N.C.; and a number of beloved nieces and nephews.
