Evelyn Flock

Evelyn E. “Lena” Flock, 86, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, December 10, 2013. She was born June 20, 1927 in Hempfield Twp., a daughter of the late Edward and Evelyn Rose Albright. She was a member of the South Greensburg United Methodist Church. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the Westmoreland County Municipal Authority and the Buss Eidemiller Family. Evelyn enjoyed playing bingo and cards. She was a member of the Scatter Card Club (over 50 years), the Women of the Moose LOOM 23 of Youngwood, and the County Seat Bowling League. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth R. “Froggie” Flock, a great-granddaughter Darra Marie Flock, a brother George Albright, a son-in-law Robert C. Jones, and a brother-in-law Jesse Smillie. She is survived by a son Dennis E. (Karin) Flock of Greensburg; three daughters: Deborah L. Jones, Darlene E. Heitman, and Dorena R. Flock, all of Greensburg; six grandchildren: Robyn (Robert) Smith, Heather (George) Reichart, Jennifer (Justin) Knavel, Jayson Heitman, Michael (Donna) Flock, and Raeann Heitman; 11 great-grandchildren (and one due in February) ; two sisters: Nora Smillie of Forbes Road and Florence (Ken) Hixson of Mt. Pleasant; a sister-in-law Edith Albright of Greensburg; and many nieces and nephews.
