James R. Peach, 86, of Greensburg, died Sunday, September 21, 2014. He was born April 19, 1928, in Jeannette, a son of the late Frederick H. and Anna Greiner Peach. He was a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the Army. Mr. Peach taught at Hempfield Area High School and truly enjoyed his students. He was the founder of Peaches ‘N Cream on Route 30 in Greensburg. He was most proud of his philanthropy to Westmoreland County Parks and Recreation. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Joyce E. Hardesty Peach, five brothers, and one sister. He is survived by a son David R. Peach of Greensburg, a daughter Elizabeth Anna Bolish and husband Richard of Loyalhanna, and a granddaughter Emily Bolish. Honoring Mr. Peach’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or service.
