Jane P. Daugherty, 85, of Greensburg, died Friday, Jan. 30, 2015, while traveling. She was born Sept. 11, 1929, in Stoneboro, a daughter of the late Robert and Lina Swires Pratt. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Greensburg. She graduated from Shadyside School of Nursing in 1953. She was an RN for 55 years, retiring from Westmoreland Manor, Greensburg. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Dick L. Daugherty; and a brother, Bobby Pratt. Jane was a dedicated mom and nurse. She was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling, visiting Europe and spending winters in Hawaii with her daughter. She is survived by two sons, Bradley (Sheila) Daugherty, of Galloway, N.J., and Craig (Irene Minyard) Daugherty, of Wooster, Ohio; a daughter, Diane (Frank) Kam, of Kailua, Hawaii; four grandchildren, Calen, Kira, Ryan and Jonathan; and four step-great-grandchildren, Alex, Lilly, Hanna and Quinton.
