Mack Shork Obituary

Mack Schork, 82, of Saltsburg, died Saturday, March 1, 2014, at home. He was the son of the late Joseph and Alexandra (Elsie) Schork. Prior to retirement, he worked for Helms Express for 36 years, and was a member of Teamsters Local Union No. 30. He was a Korean War veteran, having served in the Army in Germany. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, John Schork. He is survived by Patricia Schork, of Saltsburg; and three sons, Gary (Sharon) Schork, of Jeannette, Michael (Janet) Schork and Brian (Erin) Schork, both of West Newton. He had six grandchildren, Brian Jr., Joseph, Jaclynn, Shannon, Nicholas and Alexander. Private services will be held at the BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg. In lieu of flowers, one may make a donation to Soaring Eagle, A Public Charity, 745 Indian Trail, P.O. Box 879, Billings, MT 59103. When I come to the end of the road and the sun has set for me, I want no rights in a gloom filled room. Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little but do not too long and not with your head bowed low. Remember the love we once shared. Miss me but let me go. For this is a journey that we all must take; and, each must go alone. It’s all a part of the Master’s plan -- a step in the road home. When you are lonely and sick at heart, go to the friends we know and bury your sorrows in doing good deeds. Miss me but let me go.
