Margaret Ann "Peggy" McCune, 91, died Aug. 9, 2017. She was born April 23, 1926, to Anna Reichen (Hamilton) and John Edwin Wampler. She married Richard Alan McCune of McKeesport in 1947. Her artistic magic filled her life, dancing as a professional and every chance she could with her love. She took full advantage of her husband's food background to become a very creative cook. Her magic was carried into her love of flowers, winning many times for her arrangements; and giving her talent to others in the McKeesport and Westmoreland garden clubs. She had two boys and instilled her determined personality and self assurance into their lives. Her style was all hers; she was a well dressed, attractive woman. Peggy leaves a son, Rick (Nelda) McCune, of Jackson, Tenn.; and a daughter-in-law Mrs. David (Maggie) Abel, of Jeannette. She also leaves three grandchildren, Alexis (Matthew) Secosky, of Pittsburgh, Bridgett (Andrew) Custer, of Portland, Ore. and Richard McCune, of Murfreesboro, Tenn. She leaves one great-grandchild, Xander William Secosky, of Pittsburgh. Preceding her in death were her husband; her son, William McCune; and her daughter-in-law, Ren McCune.
