Marlene R. Jones, 64, of Greensburg, died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017, after a brief illness. She was born Aug. 31, 1952, in New Derry, a daughter of the late George W. and Helen Thomas Jones. She was employed as a banquet waitress at Ferrente's Lakeview, of Greensburg. Marlene had a special love for animals and being outdoors. She is survived by her daughter, Rachel M. Fulmer (William J. Stewart), of Greensburg; a sister, Karen J. (Charles) Hill, of New Derry; two nephews, Jeremy L. Greenawalt, of Latrobe, and Casey L. Greenawalt, of Annapolis, Md.; and a great-niece, Nevaeh L. Greenawalt. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Mary Lee Greenawalt. Family and friends will be received from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Coles Cemetery, Derry.
