Megan Zubalik

Megan Michelle Zubalik, 29, of Greensburg, died unexpectedly Thursday, July 23, 2015. She was born Nov. 7, 1985, in Greensburg, a daughter of C. Michael and Beth Anne Peckman Zubalik, of Greensburg. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Joseph F. Zubalik Jr. and Col. Dale and Shirley Peckman; and an uncle, Nicholas Ficco. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Greensburg. She was a 2004 graduate of Hempfield Area High School and a 2010 graduate of Seton Hill University. Megan loved people and cherished time spent with family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her grandmother, Genevieve Zubalik, of Greensburg; the following aunts and uncles, Richard A. Zubalik, of Greensburg, Todd and Dorothy Peckman, of O'Fallon, Ill., Kim and Chris Nascone, of Huntsville, Ala., Lee and Jerry Harkins, of North Huntingdon; several cousins; great-aunts and great-uncles; and her dog, Roxy. There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church, 310 Oak St., Irwin. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Children's Hospital, Pittsburgh. The family wishes to thank Megan's friends for their support throughout her life.
