N. Fay Kennedy

N. Fay Kennedy, 91, of Salem Township, Westmoreland County, died Friday, March 17, 2017 near her winter home in Zephyrhills, FL. She was born September 5, 1925 in East McKeesport, a daughter of the late W. Norman and Martha Savage Beck. She is a retired public school teacher, having taught for 44 years, at the following southwestern PA school districts: Saltsburg, Norwin, and Gateway. Mrs. Kennedy is a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Irwin, the Order of the Eastern Star Corinth Chapter 229 in Pitcairn, the Daughters of the Nile Airys Chapter 48, Three Rivers Hillbilly Clan #53, the Daughters of the American Revolution Queen Aliquippa Chapter, Syria Shrine RV Club, and a lifetime member of MENSA International. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Ronald E. Kennedy, and her sister, Marilyn R. Erickson. She is survived by her two children; a daughter, Debra L. (Joseph) Kennedy Anderson, of New Freedom; a son, Eric J. Kennedy, of Greensburg; two grandchildren: Brittany L. (William) Anderson-Anderson, of Martinsville, NJ, and Randall T. Anderson, of New Freedom; and a great-grandson, William C. Anderson, of Martinsville, NJ, and several nieces and nephews. There will be no public visitation or service. Private interment will be in Woodlawn (Denmark Manor) Cemetery, Export. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation in her memory be made to The Shriner's Childrens Hospitals.
