Rosemarie Lyda Immel, 83, of Greensburg, died peacefully Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at home. She was born September 20, 1931 in New Kensington, a daughter of the late John and Mary Nesballa Hanyo. She was a long time member of Our Lady of Grace Church, Greensburg. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Leslie E. Immel, Sr.; a brother Frederick Hanyo; three half-brothers: Leonard Hanyo, Everett Hanyo, and Joseph Evans; and a half-sister Gertrude Long. She is survived by two sons: Leslie E. (Kathy) Immel, Jr. of Greensburg and Allan K. (Deborah) Immel of Irwin; two daughters: Cynthia A. (Darrell) Barnes of Lawrenceville, Ga. and Terrie (Walter) Thompson of Greensburg; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Our Lady of Grace, Church, 1001 Mt. Pleasant Road, Greensburg. Interment of cremated remains will follow in St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg.
