Shirley A. Parsons, 80, of Greensburg, died Monday, December 12, 2016. She was born March 19, 1936, in Greensburg, daughter of the late Winfield and Ethel Barnhart Trout. Prior to retirement, she was a self-employed seamstress. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Angelo Willochell; three grandchildren: Wendy Rush, Devin Willochell, and Rusty Anderson, and three brothers: Wayne, Jack, and Robert Trout. She is survived by her husband of nearly 33 years, Ernest N. Parsons; a son, Dennis Willochell, of Greensburg; two daughters: Louise Yurt, and husband Donald, of Flagstaff, Ariz., and Cynthia Young, of Youngwood; two grandchildren: Corbin and Peyton Young; a step-daughter, Jennifer Trump; a step-granddaughter, Alexis Trump; and her beloved dogs: “Koda” and “Blackie”. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg.
