Sophie H. Zamborsky, 83, of South Greensburg, died Thursday, July 19, 2018. She was born October 17, 1934, in Greenock, Scotland, a daughter of the late John and Margaret Russell. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Paul J. Zamborsky; a daughter, Joan Pardi; and a son, Paul Zamborsky. She is survived by six children: Therese (John) Simpson, of Acme, Michael Zamborsky, Eileen Zamborsky, Linda (Bob) Vavick, all of South Greensburg, James (Stacey) Zamborsky, of Jeannette, and Andrew Zamborsky, of Janesville, Wis.; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a son-in-law, John Pardi, of Greensburg; three brothers: John, Phillip, and Jarrod, all of Scotland; a sister, Jean (Dan) Holden,of Canada; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no public visitation or service. Private inurnment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
