Vaughn R. “Arky” Ruff, 91, of Greensburg, died Saturday, December 24, 2016. He was born Feburary 10, 1925, in Hempfield Twp., a son of the late Orrin and Golden Tarr Ruff. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Greensburg. Vaughn was a WWII veteran, having served in the Navy. He retired from ITE/Brown Boveri. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Luella M. “Honey” Fox Ruff; a son, Barry Ruff; a brother; and six sisters. He is survived by a son, Kevin Ruff, of Greensburg; a daughter, Karen (Matthew) Dursa, of Greensburg; three grandchildren: Cory Ruff, Tara (Robert) Thomas, and Torri (Nathan) Bish; and two great-grandchidren: Phoenix and Nevaeh. Family and friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday, January 1, 2017, at the BARNHART FUNERAL HOME, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg.
