Frances Puhan

Frances M. Puhan, 91, of Bethlehem, passed away on September 3, 2019. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Barbara (Madzik) Kokosky. She was the loving wife of the late William E. Puhan and married 67 years. Frances worked for the Bethlehem Steel for 15years as well as various apperal mills in Bethlehem. She loved to sew, play bingo, loved to cook, bake and not to mention having an appetite for good and late night snacks. She was a member of the Incarnation of Our Lord Parish and former member of St. John Capistrano Parish of Bethlehem, Ladies Auxillary of the former Bethlehem Steel Club, the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association Branch 74 and the former Fountain Hill Legion Post 406. Surviving are children: William, husband of Roseann Puhan, of Alburtis; Teresa, and her husband Joseph Hardenberg, of Fountain Hill; grandchildren: Jennifer, Jacqueline, Jill, Evan & Lindsay; great-grandchildren: Tiara, Issiah, Olivia & Daphne; great-great grandson Donte Jr; a brother: Michael, and his wife, Irene Kokosky, of Bethlehem. She was predeceased by siblings: Mary, Ann, Helen, Agnes, Stephen, Joseph, Edward, John & Dorothy. She was survived by many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Monday, September 9, 2019, 11am at Holy Savior Cemetery, 2575 Linden St, Bethlehem, PA 18017. In Leiu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Holy Family Manor. 1200 Spring Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018.
