John Henn

John R. Henn Sr, 89, of Hellertown, passed away March 15, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Ruth (Hoke) Henn. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Robert E. and Sally (Gross) Henn. He served his country honorably in the Navy during WWII. John worked in the Security Dept. of the Bethlehen Steel for 25 years before retiring. He then was a stock chaser and clerk in a Bethlehem State Store. John was a member of the American Legion, Post #397, Hellertown; and the MORA & SOAR Clubs of Bethlehem. He enjoyed bowling. Surviving with his wife, are children: Beverly, wife of Dale Koch, of Hellertown; and Weston Andre-Henn, and his wife, Krysten Andre-Henn, of North Platte, NE; siblings: Bernadine Repash, of Fountain Hill; grandchildren: Judith & Jennifer; and great-grandchildren: Paige & Khloe. He was pre-deceased by a son: John R. Henn Jr., and siblings: Isabelle Kemmerer, Mae McGee, Pauline Ford, Helen Alfonso, James Henn, Donald Robert Henn, Elwood Henn, Dorothy Eisenhart, and baby Beverly. Services will be private.
