Augusto Armando Chilmaza, 85, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at The Meadows at West Shore, Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. Augusto was born October 6, 1931, in the Province of Casma, Department of Ancash in Peru. Known by many as Gus, Augusto was a friendly, passionate man that enjoyed life. He was athletic, competing in track and field, swimming, passionate playing soccer; he was also a Golden Gloves Boxing Champion, welterweight division. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Amanda (Bedoya) Chilmaza; his four sons, Cesar, Armando, Jorge, and Oscar; seven grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
