David Moser Obituary

David Wayne Moser, 65, of Hummelstown, and formerly of Jeffersonville, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 21, 2017, at his home with his family by his side. Born in Norristown on June 30, 1952, he was the son of the late Harold and Dorothy Campbell Moser. David was a cabinet maker for Exhibits Graphics Interior, Hummelstown, and previously operated a custom woodworking shop in Jeffersonville. He was a 1970 graduate of Norristown High School. David was an avid outdoorsman, most content to spend his time in nature. He was also an amateur photographer, developing his own photographs. Even though he was a soft spoken man, David often knew much more than he would say and was wiser than most. David is survived by his beloved wife and kindred spirit, Malia Ann Dillon Moser, with whom he spent 27 glorious years and married on September 30, 2000; three brothers, Harold “Moe” Moser, Jr. husband of Janet of Pottstown, Michael J. Moser husband of Marie “Bunny” of Collegeville, and Alan “Oop” Moser husband of Linda of Royersford; a sister, Cathy “Sam” Caramenico wife of David of Trooper; a brother in law, Tom McCaa; a sister in law, Patrice Dillon; and lots of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy McCaa. A celebration of David’s life will be held Friday, September 29, 2017, at 6 PM in the pavilion of the American Legion Post 265, 535 Walton Avenue, Hummelstown, with Diaconal Minister Kate R. Smith, officiating. Family and friends are invited to greet the family in the pavilion on Friday from 5 PM until time of the services. Attendees should park in the auxiliary lot to the left of the American Legion. An additional celebration of David’s life will be held Sunday, October 1, 2017, at 3:30 PM in the Norristown Cedar Club, 810 West Germantown Pike, Norristown. Family and friends are invited to greet the family in the club on Sunday from 2:30 PM until time of the services. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made in David’s name to the PA Department of Conservation & Natural Resources (DCNR), Attention: Administrative Services, P.O. Box 8769, Harrisburg, PA 17105.
