Teresa Wright Obituary

Teresa Diane Monhollon Wright, 57, of Harrisburg passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017, at her home with her loving family by her side. Born in El Paso, TX, on July 8, 1959, she was the daughter of Nancy Pearl Easter Adams wife of David Adams of Martinsburg, WV, and the late Elmer E. Monhollon. Teresa was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She was a bus driver for Lower Dauphin School District; and worked in the Sanitation & Sterilzation Department of Community General Hospital, Harrisburg, at CCM Tool & Dye Company, Martinsburg, WV, and in the Booking Department of the Sarasota Sheriff’s Department in Florida. Teresa was an advocate for the Vickie’s Angel Foundation of New Cumberland and over the last six months served as their spokesperson. She enjoyed camping and fishing, but most important to her was spending time with her family. A woman with an infectious personality Teresa enjoyed being with people and people enjoyed being with her. Very caring and totally selfless, there wasn’t anything Teresa would do for another person that was for her own benefit. In addition to her mother, Teresa is survived by her husband, David L. Wright, whom she married on December 12, 2012; two daughters, Ashley Diane McCullough of Harrisburg, and Jessica Wright of Hummelstown; one son, Michael Wright of Delaware; six grandchildren, Lillian Davis, Mikey Lester, Tyler Crowe, Raven Wright, Rion Wright, and Kylie Etzle; two brothers, Mike Monhollon of Florida and Doug Monhollon of Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews. Teresa was preceded in death by a brother, James E. Monhollon. Teresa’s life will be celebrated on Saturday, April 29, 2017, at 11 AM in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, with Chaplain Michelle Conway, officiating. Friends are invited to the viewing in the funeral home Saturday, April 29, 2017, from 10 AM until time of the services. Those desiring may send memorial contributions to Vickie’s Angel Foundation, 511 Bridge Street, New Cumberland, PA 17070 (www.vickiesangelfoundation.org).
