William B. Myer, 40, of Lower Paxton Township, peacefully transitioned into eternal life on Wednesday, October 4, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Lancaster on July 7, 1977, he was the son of Janice Dudley Lauris of Willow Valley and Gary Myer of Lititz. Will was a manager for J.B. Hunt Transport, Harrisburg. He was a 1995 graduate of Conestoga Valley High School, Lancaster, and a 1999 graduate of Penn State University. In addition to his parents and step-parents, William Lauris and Christie Myer, Will is survived by his loving wife of five years, Jamie Harris Myer, whom he married on July 14, 2012; three children, Owen Myer of Pittsburgh, and Ragan and Payten Myer both at home; his siblings, Doug Myer husband of Heather and Justin Myer husband of Nicole both of Ephrata, Chad Harsh and William Lauris husband of Maria both of Lancaster, and Jennifer Lauris of Lititz; several nieces and nephews and his many friends and church family. A celebration of Will’s life will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 11 AM in Living Water Community Church, 206 Oakleigh Avenue, Harrisburg, with The Rev. Michael S. Leonzo, officiating. Interment will be in the Hummelstown Cemetery. A viewing will be held in the church on Tuesday from 10 AM until time of the service.
