James G. Johnston, Jr., 57, of Hummelstown, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 24, 2019, at home. Born in Pottsville, he was the son of the late James G., Sr., and Esther Boris Johnston. Jim was a framer for the former Maple Nut Creations at Briarcrest Square, Hershey. He was a graduate of the former St. Clair High School. Jim was an avid Eagles football fan; and enjoyed the beach and spending time with family and friends. Jim is survived by his wife, Angela K. Heisey Johnston whom he married on September 8, 2012; four children, Jimmy Joe Johnston husband of Kayla of Pine Grove, Kelly Gardecki wife of Kevin of Gordon, Deborah Carmona-Diaz wife of Derek of Tucson, AZ, and Andrew Cummings, Jr. at home; five siblings, Barb Johnston, Debbie Johnston, Clare Darker wife of Ed, Sandy Moore wife of Tom, and Kevin Johnston; and 12 grandchildren. In keeping with Jim’s request there will be no services.
