Donna Elanor (Travis) Lloyd, 80, a longtime resident of Indiana, passed away in her home surrounded by family on Monday, February 27, 2017. She was born November 22, 1936; a daughter of the late Harry M. Travis and Muriel E. (Gahagen) Travis. She was married to Donald L. Lloyd on April 23, 1955. She retired from Penn Dot after 34 ½ years of dedicated service, and is a member of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution). She enjoyed touring the country with her husband and other couples on their trikes. Donna was a very talented artist of many venues ranging from painting to drawing. She most recently tried her hand at basket weaving which she won many awards and thoroughly enjoyed teaching the craft to others. Donna is survived by her husband Donald of 61 years and 10 months and children: Donald L. Lloyd II, Indiana; and Deirdre DelaCruz and husband Lito, Orlando, FL. Also survived by a grandchild, Kalei; and a sister, Yvonne Fisher. She was preceded by her son, Douglas Lloyd; brothers Laird Travis (WWII KIA), Elmo (Flip) Travis; and sister Deloris Stockdale. Friends will be received Friday, March 3rd from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Indiana. A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Glade Run Cemetery.
