Kenneth McKendrick Obituary

Kenneth Paul ''Paulie'' McKendrick, II, 38, of Indiana, was reunited with our Savior and with long-missed family members on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh. Paulie was born June 29, 1981 in Latrobe. He was the son of the late Kenneth McKendrick and the late Beverly Hopkins. Paulie was a jack of all trades. He was a water truck and tri-axel driver; mechanic; carpenter; auto inspector, and a 'car salesman'. He would do anything for anyone...he once gave his own shirt to a homeless man who was freezing in the rain. His sense of humor was his trademark. Paulie would make a joke out of anything. He enjoyed fishing, cookouts where he made the best steak, camping, and being with his children who will deeply miss him. His children was his world. He attended Summit Church and New Life Church. He is survived by his wife, Susan, and the following children: Kenneth P. McKendrick, III; Sarah Coffman; whom he raised; Gabriella McKendrick; Jonah McKendrick; and Ayriauna McKendrick, his brothers Jonathan McKendrick (Alysha) and Christopher Hopkins (Carla), his in-laws John and Elizabeth Lee, Kimberly Rozier (Joe), MaryAnn Higgins (Dale), Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and many, many friends. His closest friends Stephen Simmons, Tony Gaston (Tina), Bruce Rice (Candi), Nick Rotosky, and Ryan White will miss him greatly. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Dalton McKendrick; his sister, Krystle McKendrick, his brother in law William Morrone, his maternal and paternal grandparents, and several aunts and uncles. Friends will be received Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 1-3 PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Indiana. His funeral service, officiated by Paulies favorite Pastor Dick Motzing, will begin at 3:00. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes contributions toward his funeral expenses, which may be sent to the funeral home at 965 Philadelphia St. Indiana PA 15701 Online condolences may be offered by visiting rbfh.net
