Krystle May McKendrick, 32, of Indiana, unexpectedly died at her home, Sunday, October 8, 2017. Born in Indiana, May 24, 1985, she was the daughter of Kenneth Paul McKendrick and Beverly J. (Hopkins) McKendrick with whom she lived. Krystle was a caring and loving person who enjoyed working as a private homecare provider. She loved working with children and being near them. She liked to play video games, surfing the internet on her computer and listening to Christian music. Krystle had attended the Dixonville Wesleyan Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her siblings: half-brother, Christopher Hopkins and brothers, Kenny “Paulie” McKendrick, II (Susan) and Jonathan McKendrick (Alysha) all of Indiana. Her surviving aunts and uncles are: Darla Sigafose (William); Joanne Olechoveski; Jeffery McKendrick (Pam); Jodi Short (Jim); John Hopkins; Kathy Hopkins; Brenda Shondmyer; Emily Oskey and Wendy Roberts. She will also be remembered by her cousins: Crystal, Brian, Jessica, Melissa, Christa, Nicole, Tonya, Noel, Lisa, Tina, Amy, James, Rebecca, Jason, Johnny, Ashley, T.J., Michael Jennifer, Wayne, Jr., Sherry, Joseph, Kelly, Larry, Edward, Amanda, Shawn, Matthew and Adam. Others who will miss her are her nieces and nephews: Kenneth McKendrick, III; Joey McKendrick; Noah Greenlee; Lucas McKendrick; Peyton McKendrick; Sarah Coffman; Gabriella McKendrick; Jonah McKendrick and Aryauna McKendrick. Krystle was preceded in death by her nephew, Dalton McKendrick, whom she raised as her own; paternal grandparents, Joseph E. and Charleen West-McKendrick; maternal grandparents, Twilla and John Frain-Hopkins; uncles, Mark J. McKendrick and Todd McKendrick; aunt, Peggie McKendrick and cousin, Freddie McKendrick. Friends will be received Friday, October 13th from 1 to 3 PM and 5 to 7 PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home of Indiana. There will be no formal service. Online condolences may be made at: rbfh.net.
