Anthony Lican Obituary

Anthony F. Lican, 81, of 120 Delaware Ave. James City, died Tuesday (March 21) at UPMC-Hamot. He was born April 19, 1935 in James City, the son of the late Anthony and Rose (Mischic) Lican. Mr. Lican served in the US Army as a Military Police officer. He then was employed by the US Forest Service as a Equipment Operator. He was a member of the Hi-La Sportsmen Club and an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping, and his greatest love was his garden. He is survived by two brothers; Joe (Mary) Lican of Erie and John (Shirley) Lican of James City; nine nieces and nephews, Tim and Tony Lican and Judy Hoover, John Lican, Cheri Burton, Lynda Nelson, Rose Bouch, Mary Milstead, and Frank Bouch; Several great nieces and nephews and four great great nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Patricia Bouch and his nephew Matt Burton. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
