Jean A. Bonfilio KANE Jean A Bonfilio, 90, formerly of 316 Janeway Street, passed away Thursday (May 18, 2017) at the Lutheran Home at Kane. Born October 9, 1926, in Kane, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Mary Zimmero Bonfilio. Jean had been employed at Affiliated Industries for 26 years. She was a member of St. Callistus Catholic Church. Surviving are a daughter, Julie (Duane) Frey of Pittsburgh; a granddaughter, Erica (Christopher) Delbianco of Pittsburgh; a grandson, Brian Frey of Pittsburgh; a great-grandson, Christopher Delbianco; a sister, Frances Palumbo of Kane; a niece, Linda (Thomas) Churakos of Olean, NY; and a nephew, Peter (Martha) Palumbo of Bradford. She was preceded in death, besides her parents, by two brothers, Joe Bonfilio and Peter Bonfilio; and a sister, Mary Bonfilio. Friends will be received in the gathering space at St. Callistus Church on Monday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at which time a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with the Rev. William O'Brien, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Callistus Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Lutheran Home at Kane, 100 High Point Drive, Kane, PA 16735.
