Marci Dana KANE Marci Dana, 56, of 236 S. Summit Rd., Greenville, passed away Friday (September 29, 2017) at UPMC Horizon-Greenville. Born August 18, 1961, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Mary O'Donnell Dana. Marci had been a member of several volunteer fire departments throughout her life. She had worked in the bakery at her local grocery store. Surviving are a son, Joshua (Kelly) Zimmerman of Mifflinburg; a daughter, Alecia (Scott) Faar of Milton; four grandchildren, Issac Zimmerman, Rex Faar, Cage Faar and Mercedez Faar; three brothers, Bill (Jan Menteer) Dana of Kane, Thomas "Tad" (Helen) Dana of Ringtown and Christopher (Christine) Dana of Mooresville, NC; two sisters, Mary "Nan" (Mark) Whitson of Burnsville, NC and Paula (Herb) Simon of Seattle, WA; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Cummings Funeral Home, Inc., 151 Greeves St., Kane, PA 16735, where a funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with the Rev. William O'Brien, pastor of St. Callistus Church, officiating. Burial will be in St. Callistus Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made on the GoFundMe page set up to help defer expenses.
