Leonard W. Hill, 84, a resident at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown died Saturday, November 10, 2018 in Masonic Village Healthcare Center. He was the husband of Gladys M. (Heimel) Hill. They were married May 1, 1954 and celebrated 64 years of marriage. Born in Ontelaunee Twp., he was the son of the late James W. and Viella L. (Boyer) Hill. He worked as a carpenter in Local No. 492, retiring in 1996. He was a 48 year member of the Union. Leonard was a member of Isaac Hiester Masonic Lodge No. 660 F&AM, West Reading, he was a 32nd degree Master Mason, and was a former member of the Rajah Shrine. Leonard was a life member of A.A.S.R Valley of Reading Lodge of Perfection, Temple Fire Company, and was an active member of the NRA. Surviving in addition to his wife is a son: Steven L. Hill husband of Rosie S. Ness, Steamboat Springs, CO; a daughter: Cheryl L. Weidenhammer significant other of David K. Dobson, Temple; and a brother: Galen Hill, Temple. He was predeceased by four brothers: Gordon, Willard, Donald, and Marvin. Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 11:30 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. A visitation will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 am in the funeral home. There will be a Masonic service during the visitation. Leonard enjoyed hunting and the outdoors. He was a charter member of Marsh Hollow Camp. and the camp meant a lot to him. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Marsh Hollow Camp c/o Steven L. Hill, P.O.
