Ralph Paul Manno, Jr., 68, of 555 Fishing Creek Rd., Mill Hall passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Mt. Nittany Medical Center. Born August 28, 1948 in Lock Haven, he was the son of the late Ralph Paul Manno, Sr. and Angeline Bonadio Manno. Ralph was a 1966 graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany High School. He also attended Lock Haven University. He was a member of the United States Army, serving in the Vietnam War and earning both a Purple Heart and Bronze Star. On March 3, 1979, he married the former Sandy Fulger who survives. Ralph was employed as a Quality Control Inspector at Haven Homes, Beech Creek, retiring upon its closing in December 2011. For the past two years he worked at the Central Pennsylvania Auto Auction. He attended the Holy Spirit Parish. Ralph enjoyed golfing as well as spending time outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He will be remembered as always being caring and fun-loving. In addition to his wife, Sandy Manno, of Mill Hall, he is survived by a son, Matthew Paul Manno of Mill Hall; a step-son, Brian S. Winter of Huntingdon; a step-grandson, Collin John Winter of Walnutport; two brothers, Dennis Manno of Rote and Ken (Sharon) Manno of State College; a sister, Donna (John) Keeler of Castanea; his mother-in-law, Margaret L. Fulger of Mill Hall; a sister-in-law, Jean (Larry) Fulger McKeague of Mill Hall; a brother-in-law, Michael A. (Julie) Fulger of Albany, NY; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at 11 A.M. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 3 E. Walnut St., Lock Haven with Rev. Fr. Jozef Kovacik officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow at St. Agnes Cemetery. Friends and family will be received at the Moriarty Funeral Home & Crematory, 112 E. Church St., Lock Haven on Monday from 6-8 P.M.
