Age 59, of Bethel Park, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2017 after a short, hard-fought battle with lung cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl L. DiFiore, Sr. and Theresa (Kadair) DiFiore, and his mother-in-law, Ruth A. Stofcik. Carl is survived by his wife of 30 years, Stephanie A. (Stofcik) DiFiore; his brothers-in-law, Mark S. Stofcik of Belle Vernon and John D. “Jay” Stofcik of Forest Hills; his brother, Nick Difiore of Brookline; his sisters, Anna Paga and Loretta Tonrey, both of Brookline; and numerous nieces and nephews. Carl spent many years working in sales and corporate recruiting, most recently with Bruegger's. Furthermore, he was active for many years in both coaching and umpiring youth baseball in the South Hills. Additionally, he was a longtime volunteer and mentor for troubled youth at the Holy Family Institute. Arrangements by BEINHAUERS, 724-941-3211.
