Age 65, of North Strabane, crossed over to be with Our Lord on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Debbie was born on March 10, 1952 in Pittsburgh to Joan Myler and the late Francis Myler. She graduated from Bellevue High School and received nursing degrees from St. John’s Hospital School of Nursing and Pennsylvania State University. Caring for newborns at Magee Womens Hospital and later at St. Clair Hospital fulfilled her career dream. She retired from Children's Community Pediatrics in McMurray after many years as a triage nurse in which she provided advice and encouragement to parents. Debbie is survived by her husband, Russell Moran; her children, Elizabeth (Matthew) Shento of Cecil Township and Matthew of Naples, FL; her granddaughter, Julia Shento; her mother, Joan Myler of Pittsburgh; her brothers, Mark Myler of Oakmont and Thomas Myler of Candler, FL.; and her sister, Nancy Warner of Meadville, PA. She was predeceased by a brother, Michael Myler of Ocala, FL. The family would like to thank all of Debbie's friends and neighbors for their special love and support during the past few years. Special gratitude is extended to the nurses and staff of Family Hospice & Palliative Care whose thoughtful attention and concern was most helpful. We are truly grateful for all you have done.
