Marcus Ruscitto
Marcus L. Ruscitto, of Pittsburgh, age 34, on Thursday July 22, 2004. He was born December 29, 1969 in Pittsburgh the son of Louis and Carol (Watson) Ruscitto of Peters Township. Mr. Ruscitto is the Interim Director of 3 Rivers Communications. He was co-founder of Stargate, LLC with his brother Michael. As CEO of Stargate, Mr. Ruscitto was acknowledged and honored with many of the city's most prestigious awards including The American Business Ethics Award and the Fastest Growing Inner City Company by both The Initiate for a Competive Inner City and Inc Magazine. Mr. Ruscitto currently served as Director of Net Health and is on the Advisory Committee of Entrepreneurs Network, which is affiliated with the Pittsburgh Technology Council. He was a two-time nominee for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Mr. Ruscitto also served on the Board of Directors of a number of local and statewide organizations including the United Way of Allegheny County, the Logic House, WQED Multimedia and 3 Rivers Connect. He is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Burger King Cancer Caring Center and sits on the Technology Advisory Committee of Combine.net, a successful optimization firm quickly gaining traction with the Fortune 500 crowd. Mr. Ruscitto is a 1992 cum laude graduate of Miami University of Ohio with a Bachelors of Science in Finance. In addition to his parents he is also survived by a brother Michael Ruscitto, two sisters Marcy Judy and Marla Ruscitto; a nephew Preston Louis Judy, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends of of Pittsburgh, age 34, who died Thursday July 22, 2004 will be received Saturday 4-9 PM and Sunday 1-9 PM at BEINHAUERS, 2828 Washington Road, Peters Township, 724-941-3211. Funeral Services will be held Monday 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Pittsburgh, 320 Sixth Avenue, Pittsburgh. Everyone please meet at the Church.
