Mary Christine Patterson, Age 71, of W. College St., Canonsburg, PA, died Monday, May 24, 2004, in the Shady Side Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. Born December 25, 1932 in Canonsburg, PA, she was a daughter of George and Beatrice Knapper Dudley. Mrs. Patterson was a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Canonsburg, PA. She was a member of the Lucky Six Bowling League in Canonsburg and she enjoyed playing pinochle, bingo and cooking. Married twice, her first husband Donald Hagan died in 1966, her second husband Harold Lloyd Patterson died in 1996. Surviving are two sons, Donald Hagan of Pittsburgh, PA; and Melvin Hagan of Joshua Tree, CA; two daughters, Charlotte Leach of Fayetteville, NC; and Rita Seals of Canonsburg, PA; three stepdaughters, Arlene Murray, Diana Preston and Carol A. Patterson all of Canonsburg, PA; one sister, Geraldine Jones of Marrietta, GA; 19 grandchildren, Sandra Hagan, Selena Hagan, Melvin Hagan Jr., Jamaal Hagan, Nashan Hagan, Isaac Wilson, Christopher Bell, Aaron Hagan, Marcus Wilson, Donald K. Hagan, Lindsay Garvin, Jason Bell, Adriana Walker, Artisha Walker, Dawn Stevenson and Dana Grimes, Thomas Preston, Annette Preston and Darshell Bennett; and 7 great grandchildren. Deceased are five brothers, James, Roy, Bevely, George David and Percy Dudley; and three sisters, Thelma McGriff, Joanne Lewis and Marvia Woods. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., 27 Cherry Ave., Houston, PA 15342. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, May 28, 2004, in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Canonsburg, PA, with the Rev. Lance B. Whitlock officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Spring Cemetery, Canonsburg, PA.
