E. John Schwab, 59, of Meadville, passed away, Thursday, September 5, 2013 at UPMC Hamot. He was born March 12, 1954 in Meadville a son of Edward J. Schwab and Katherine Eddy Schwab. He married Debra J. Roseberry on July 21, 1973 she preceded him in death December 21, 2012. John was employed by Advance Cast Products for over 40 years, was president of Advanced Cast Local Steel Workers and a member of United Steel Workers Local 1917. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Meadville. John enjoyed golfing, hunting, spending time with his grandchildren, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He is survived by his fiance, Deborah Fronce of Meadville whom he was to marry this Saturday, September 7th; a daughter, Angela Hartman and her husband Scott of Candor, New York; a son, Michael Schwab and his wife Kelly of Meadville; seven grandchildren, Harry, Dylan, Mackenzie, Riley, Hailey, Sierra, and Samantha; a sister, Diane O'Brien and her husband David of Ashville, New York; two cousins, Larry Sayre and his wife Connie of West Virginia and Jean Schwab of Meadville; a stepson, Jason Fronce his wife Dawn and family of Meadville; mother in law, Genevieve Davenport of Meadville; a sister in law, Kathryn Hamilton her husband Brian and family of Meadville; brother in law, Chris Fronce his wife Tracy and family of Hartstown; his First Baptist Church family; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, Debra, he was preceded in death by his parents: a granddaughter, Lauren Schwab; a sister, Carolyn Cooper; and a brother, Robert Schwab. Services will be private. Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery, Harmonsburg. Memorial contributions maybe made in John's memory to Aseracare Hospice, 1600 Peninsula Drive, Erie, PA 16505 or First Baptist Church, 353 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335.
