He was a member of the Twin Springs Hunting Camp in Clearfield County, where he spent time doing many things that he loved, especially hunting, fishing and riding his four-wheeler. He also enjoyed doing puzzles, listening to country music, including Melvin in the Morning on WJUN, but his greatest joy came from watching his grandchildren play sports. Until his retirement in 1994, Edgar was a self-employed saw miller, for 42 years, owning and operating his sawmill, first in Clearfield County and then in Juniata County. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, March 21, 2008, from the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 16 Westfall St., McAlisterville, with Ray Baker officiating. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing.
