Hannah E. Witherite, 77, of Fleming, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Hannah was born on June 7, 1942, in Bellefonte a daughter of the late Elwood and Mary Garbrick Packer, Sr. On January 12, 1962, she married Carl E. Witherite, Sr. who preceded her in death on May 5, 2009. Hannah is survived her sons, Carl E. Witherite, Jr., of Bellefonte and Dean F. (Deanna) Witherite of Rebersburg. Also surviving are her six grandchildren, Jamie Witherite, Elizabeth Ross, Bethany Delerme, Kristy Witherite, Miranda Witherite and Hunter Dugan; and nine great-grandchildren; her brothers, Elwood Packer of Spring Mills and Harry "Bud" Packer of Milesburg also survive. Hannah was a homemaker. She was of the Protestant faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family, knitting, crocheting, camping, drawing, bingo, Grange Fair, and she enjoyed her favorite TV shows. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Alex Witherite, and her sisters, Lillian Jones, Kathryn Shawley, Phyllis Dobson and her brother Richard Packer. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 from 11A.M. - 1 P.M. at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring St., Milesburg. The funeral service will follow at 1 P.M. with Pastor Calvin Miller, officiating. Burial will be in Advent Cemetery, Boggs Twp., Centre Co.
