Charles P. Sherry, Sr., 66, of rural Howard passed away at home on Sunday, August 20, 2017. He was born on November 20, 1950 in Bellefonte, the son of the late Charles F. and Vivian Hoy Sherry. Charles enjoyed fly fishing and was the owner of the Upstream Fly Fishing in Morgantown, WV. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corp. Charles is survived by his sons, Charles P. Sherry, Jr. of rural Howard and Donavon T. Sherry of Easton, MD and their mother, Diane Fisher Sherry of Bellefonte; his brothers, Robert Sherry of Marsh Creek and James Sherry of Morgantown, WV. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Sherry. Family and friends will be received at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring St., Milesburg on Thursday, August 24, 2017 from 12 PM to 2 PM. Burial will be in the Zion Union Cemetery, Walker Twp., Centre Co.
