Robert P. Carlin 74, of Snow Shoe passed away at his home and went to be with his Lord, on Wednesday, February 1, 2017. Robert was born in Wilkes-Barre on August 21, 1942 a son of the late Raymond S. and Nancy J. Roberts Carlin. On June 9, 1962 he married the former Pamela A. Lucas who survives at home. Also surviving are his daughters, Melissa Carlin of Snow Shoe and Deanene (David) McCullough of Snow Shoe, his sons, Robert (Tina) Carlin of Snow Shoe and Todd Carlin of Snow Shoe. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Cortney Schall, Kylee Mottin, Robert Carlin, Tyler Carlin, David McCullough, Luke McCullough and Alyssa Carlin; his great-grandchildren Carly Schall, Isabella Mottin, Madalyn Carlin, Elliana Mottin, Tanner Schall, Amelia Mottin, and Alesia Mottin. He is also survived by his sister, Marilynn Spear. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond J. Carlin. Robert was self-employed and worked with his dad, R.S. Carlin. Robert was a baptized member of the Snow Shoe Church of Christ and Bellefonte Lodge #268 F & A M . He loved working with antique cars with his dad, R.S. Carlin, and enjoyed working in his garage. Robert loved the Lord, enjoyed reading his Bible and listening to Bible tapes. He had a green thumb growing geraniums. He also loved camping and driving his bus. He especially loved spending time with his family. Visitation will be on Friday, February 3, 2017 from 6:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring St., Milesburg, PA. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Snow Shoe Church of Christ, with Dwight Bolin and Gary Shaw officiating. Burial will follow at the Church of Christ Cemetery, Snow Shoe. Funeral arrangements are under of the direction of The Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, Milesburg.
