Melissa J. Samuels, 53, of New Castle passed away the evening of October 29, 2019 at Quality of Life of New Castle.

Born on September 30, 1966 in Lancaster, Pa. she was the daughter of Charles and Barbara Schwann Lausch. Her father preceded her in death and her mother survives.

Melissa was married to Michael Samuels and he preceded her in death.

Melissa had worked in health care as a nurse’s aide. She also did landscaping.

She was a member of New Castle Revival Center.

Melissa was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan. She enjoyed being outdoors gardening and going fishing. Her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family and helping others.

In addition to her mother Melissa is survived by her daughter, Jocelyn Kulik, her companion of sixteen years, Dennis J. Marlowe, her step-mother, Alice Peoples, her brother, Kelly Drum, her sister, Angela Drum and three grandchildren.

In addition to her father and husband, Melissa was preceded in death by her son.

Visitation will be on Saturday, November 9th, 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the New Castle Revival Center, 1102 S. Mill St, New Castle, Pa. 16101.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Revival Center. Pastor Dominick Cestrone will officiate.
