Alice June Faraone

Alice June Faraone, 75, of 1 W. Moody Avenue passed away the morning of September 28, 2012 at her residence.

She was born June 18, 1937 in Chicago, IL and was the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Lillian Wright Mittler. She is survived by her husband, Charles J. Faraone, Sr. whom she married June 22, 1957.

Mrs. Faraone worked as a Pharmacy Tech for both the Medical Center and Jameson Hospital. She was a member of St. Vitus Church. Alice enjoyed bingo, cooking and going on vacations. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and her greatest joy was the time spent with family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children, Leanne Colangelo and husband Joseph of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, Charles J. Faraone, Jr. and wife Carol of New Middleton, OH, Karen DeLorenzo of New Castle and Kimberly Walker and husband Frank, Jr. of New Castle; one sister, Mary Therese Sovesky of New Castle; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tonie L. Walker; a sister, Doris Callahan; a brother, Jim Mittler and a great granddaughter, Kamryn R. Colangelo.

Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 941 S. Mill Street.

A mass of christian burial will be celebrated by Father William Siple on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at St. Vitus Church. A procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 AM for the church. Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum.
