<p>Gary J. (Palsey) Remesnik, 72, of New Castle, passed away July 1, 2017 at his residence. Born on January 14, 1945 in New Castle, he was the son of the late John and Mary Scarnati Remesnik. </p><p><br></p><p>Gary retired from Mesta Machine Company. He was a member of St. Vitus Church. Gary belonged to the Duca Degli Abruzzi and enjoyed playing bocce, hunting, and fishing. </p><p><br></p><p>Gary is survived by his sisters, Barbara Sherbak of Pittsburgh, PA, Joan Wimer of Katy, TX, and Jean Pastore of Wellsville, OH; lifelong friends and caretakers, Shirley Nader and Louise McKee; nieces and nephews, Kathy Kleinerman, Michael Sherbak, Phillip Wimer, Christopher Wimer, Dana Wimer, Joshua Wimer, Sarah Sampson, Lindsey Barmes, Antonio Pastore, and Anna Maria Pastore; and many friends and cousins. </p><p><br></p><p>Visitation will be held Thursday from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S Mill St. Blessing services will be conducted Thursday at 1:00pm at funeral home. </p><p><br></p><p>Interment will take place in St. Vitus Cemetery.</p>
