<p>Geraldine G. Vascetti, 87, of Neshannock Township, passed away the afternoon of April 8, 2017 at UPMC Jameson Hospital. Born on July 2, 1929 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Clem and Florence DeLillo General. She is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, Egidio (James) Vascetti, who she married on October 26, 1950. </p><p><br></p><p>In her earlier years, Geraldine worked for Strouss Department Store and Little Shop Clothing Store. She and her husband then owned Egidio's Restaurant and The Villa Banquet Center. Geraldine was a member of St. Camillus Church. She enjoyed visiting casinos and playing scratch off tickets, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. </p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her husband, Geraldine is survived by her children, Joseph Vascetti, Terri Cialella and companion James Pagley, and Jodi Ryhal and husband Richard, all of New Castle; sister, Anna Lou Parada of New Castle; grandchildren, Stacey Elias, Richard Ryhal, and Richard Cialella; and great-grandchildren, Maddox, Avery, and Colson Ryhal. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Vascetti-Elias, and sister, Virginia Jean Ross. </p><p><br></p><p>Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd. A procession will leave the funeral home Wednesday at 10:30am to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am at St. Camillus Church. </p><p><br></p><p>Entombment will take place in Parkside Mausoleum. </p>
